Shaktar had already tried to hire the young talent last year, but the discussions had ended without an agreement. This year, Santos said they were enthusiastic about the new offer made by the Russians (around six millions euros), but they want to wait for the Copa Libertadores to end.
“The offer exists, but we don’t want to talk about it for the moment as we are in a decisive time in the Copa Libertadores,” said Nei Pandolfo, Santos’ football manager.
