Andre joined the Ukrainian side in 2010, moving from Santos for €8 million. He had scored 28 goals in 51 games for the Peixe, and was expected to make a big impact for Dynamo. However, last season he only played 12 times, and was loaned out to Bordeaux in January, where he again struggled and only made three appearances.
Now, the 20-year-old could have a way out with a return to his homeland. Flamengo are looking to sign a prolific striker, and Jean Neto, Andre’s agent, says the move could come sooner than later. “We await a response from Kiev,” he said. “It could be that something happens even today.”
Flamengo had been trying to sign Vagner Love from CSKA Moscow but their efforts proved unsuccessful. Instead, they have agreed personal terms with Andre and are now waiting to see if Dynamo accept their offer. The striker is still highly-rated, and has played four times for the national team.
