Juve had an €8 million bid for Rhodolfo rejected recently, and Baptista has made it clear that the centre-back will not switching teams any time soon.
“I have met with Rhodolfo and explained the importance he has to this group,” Baptista told Sao Paulo’s official website. “I told him that we want to win titles, and he agreed to stay.”
Rhodolfo has helped Sao Paulo to mount a title challenge in the Campeonato Brasileiro this season, with the club just two points behind league leaders Corinthians.
He signed for his current club as recently as February after spending seven years with Atletico Paranaense.
