In the 31st round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo will take on Santos without Ronaldinho, Thiago Neves and Dario Botínelli, opening up a chance for Negueba to take a starting berth, but also for Adryan to play a role in the first-team set-up.
The playmaker is unlikely to be given a starting berth, but is hoping to play at least some part in the game.
“It would be a dream,” said the 17-year old. “Even more so in a game of this importance, against an opponent like Santos.
“I am new to this and I am using Neymar as an example. It would be very cool to play in a match against him.
“This would be more than footballing experience, but also great life experience.”
Adryan played in a friendly with the first-team earlier in the year, but despite being called to the bench a few times, is yet to make a competitive appearance.
“If I play, it will be great not only for me but for my family and friends who are always rooting for my success,” Adryan continued.
“Here I am training hard and strong. I am very focused on representing Flamengo.”
