Osvaldo, who has had a fine 2011 campaign, belongs to Al-Ahli (Qatar), who would sell only 50% of the player’s economic rights.
“Vagner Mancini likes the athlete and recommended him to the board,” said the President-elect.
“Apparently he will not stay at Ceará, we are willing to bring in the player. He is very expensive, belonging to a club of Qatar, who will only gives 50% of the athlete.

Gilvan also spoke of the situation facing Cruzeiro over their academy graduate Bernardo, who is currently on loan at Rio de Janeiro side Vasco da Gama.
“The situation is as follows Bernardo,” he continued. “He went to Vasco with an agreed set-price.
“If Vasco exercise that right, we cannot negotiate. If there is no interest from the Rio club, we will bring back Bernardo.
“He has had an excellent championship at Vasco and is from our academy, he has everything we want for the team next year.”
