The 26 year old has already won 26 caps for his country and has been in negotiations with the Rubro-Negro since the end of last season, finally agreeing a four-year deal to start on the 30th June.
Flamengo had hoped to negotiate the player’s release for the summer window, but will now have to wait until the end of the Copa Libertadores for the Paraguayan star.
