Inter got of to a flying start, with two goals in the opening eight minutes courtesy of livewire Dagoberto and a powerful header from Leandro Damião, but were held at 2-0 until half-time by the Bolivians.

In the second-half though, Inter went for the throat and it was highly-valued striker Leandro Damião doing the damage, completing his hat-trick by the midway point of the half.

At 4-0, the powerful forward was withdrawn, giving an opportunity for former-Manchester City striker Jô to pounce with a smart finish and press his claim for first-team football in the coming weeks.
