Corinthians president Mario Gobbi has confirmed that midfielders Paulinho and Ralf have signed new deals to remain at the club, despite interest from Europe.
“Paulinho and Ralf will stay at Corinthians,” the president said. “Corinthians is a meritocracy. We gave done this since December 2007.
“Those players who raise their levels, they will get their salary raised to a new level. I want everyone to be happy and satisfied at Corinthians, playing with the same willingness they showed in the Libertadores.
Paulinho had been linked with an €8.5 million move to Inter Milan earlier this week, but had voiced his desire to stay at the Sao Paulo based side.
