Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has named his side to face England at Wembley on Wednesday evening, with Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Júlio César, Atlético Mineiro attacking midfielder Ronaldinho and Chelsea’s Oscar all set to start.

Felipão, who was expected to make some surprise selections for the fixture, has stuck with the double midfield pivot of Ramires and Paulinho, while opting for Luis Fabiano as the team’s lone centre-forward.

Bayern Munich defender Dante will start at centre-back ahead of Atlético Madrid’s Miranda, while David Luiz has overcome a nagging injury problem to make the starting lineup. Barcelona’s Adriano will start at left-back for the side.

The inclusion of Chelsea attacking midfielder Oscar continues the trend of Mano Menezes’ Brazil side, where the former Internacional player was selected above PSG’s Lucas Moura. It is highly likely, though, that the Paris-based forward will be introduced later in the game.

Brazil XI to face England: Júlio César; Daniel Alves, David Luiz, Dante, Adriano; Ramires, Paulinho, Ronaldinho, Oscar; Neymar, Luis Fabiano
