Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Corinthians and Brazil Under-20 starlet Antonio Carlos, according to the Sunday People.
The 19-year-old defender has made a handful of appearances for the senior side since progressing through the youth ranks at the Brazilian club.
However, it was his performances for the junior side that caught the attention of the Premier League giants, after he led his team to the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior title last year.
Old Trafford officials have reportedly approached the Corinthians’ hierarchy, and have opened initial talks with the club’s director of football Edu regarding the player’s availability.
United are not expected to make am official move anytime soon but will monitor the Seleção U20 captain’s development.
