Cruzeiro have loaned centre-back Rafael Donato to fellow Serie A outfit Bahia until the end of the season, having fallen out of favour at the Belo Horizonte side.
Donato, 24, had been a standout player for Bahia until the beginning of 2012 when he made the move south to Minas Gerais.
After a bright start at the club, though, the player has fallen down the pecking order with the signings of Dedé, Paulão and Nirley in the centre-back position.
Having trained separately from his side since the beginning of 2013, the centre-back is set to return to his former side in search of game-time.
