Cruzeiro have offically announced the signing of promising 19-year old midfielder Bruno Lamas, who was playing for Santos.
Bruno Lamas started his career at São Paulo’s youth team, before moving to Santos, where he remained until March.
He signed a 3-year contract with his new club, but is expected to play for Cruzeiro’s under 20 team so that the team’s staff can follow his progress more closely.
The young midfielder expressed his happiness with the new deal, he posted: “I’m now a Cruzeiro player, I’m very pleased about how I was received by the fans, it’s a beautiful fanbase.”
“I’m very happy and confident to show my football and make history at this wonderful club. Cruzeiro have a fantastic structure, and great and passionate fans.”
Bruno Lamas is Cruzeiro’s third signing before the Brazilian national league starts, as highly-rated defender Dedé and full-back Leandro joined the club recently.
