Corinthians’ president Mário Gobbi Filho has ruled out the possibility of selling Edenílson and Bayer Leverkusen target Romarinho.

Romarinho has been linked with a 12 million Euros move, while Edenílson has reportedly also received an offer from the German Bundesliga.

Both players played the São Paulo State League final against Santos, which Corinthians won.

Mário Gobbi Filho talked to Brazilian press about their situation, he said: “Thing like this about Edenílson and Romarinho: it’s more likely a bettle smokes marijuana in my eye than that I sell them.”

“They have just arrived, will become first team starters and will end up at the Brazilian national team. You can write that. I won’t authorize their transfers even if I die.”

Corinthians are also considering the possibility of increasing their salaries to match their current status at the club.

Paulinho has also been linked to European football, but the midfielder said he will stay at Corinthians.
