Brazil debuted in the famous Toulon Tournament with a 2-1 against Belgium at the State Perruc in Hyères, for the Group B.

Brazil’s squad is coached by Alexandre Gallo and include mainly Brazil-based players. Barcelona’s Rafinha is a notable exception, but he was not available for the game against Belgium.

The Belgian national team opened the scoring in the first half with a goal scored by FC Copenhagen’s Vetoleke in the 13th minute.

Brazil reversed the score in the second half, as Grêmio’s Yuri Mamute equalized the game in the 46th minute, and Cruzeiro’s Vinícius Araújo gave Brazil the lead seven minutes later.

The Seleção will face current champions Mexico on Friday. Portugal and Nigeria are also in Brazil’s group while France, Colombia, Congo DR, South Korea and the United States are in Group A.
