Juninho Pernambucano is considering the possibility of retiring from football in December, when the 2013 Brazilian season is over.

The midfielder has recently left MLS club New York Red Bulls and feels discouraged to continue his career.

Juninho talked with Lancenet about his plans, he said: “I think my career will end this year. My move [to MLS] was harder than I expected and that discourages me a little bit.

I was expecting to be in a better moment, I believe this is my last season, but I can"t guarantee you that."

But before retiring, Juninho Pernambucano might join his former team Vasco, talks have already started, but the player has not made a decision yet. Juninho Pernambucano has also previously expressed interest in joining Sport Recife.
