Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani admits that Robinho"s stay at the San Siro has caused the collapse of a deal for Fiorentina"s Adam Ljajic.

The Rossoneri were pursuing the Viola star but the collapse of Robinho"s mooted transfer to Santos has changed matters.

“It"s no longer a practicable deal," the Rossoneri chief told Sky Sport Italia. “Yes, his idol is [former Milan ace] Kaka but we already have Robinho, who is staying."

But Galliani believes that the collapse of the Ljajic deal will not adversely affect Milan"s squad for next season as Robinho is in fine form.

“We"re talking about a great professional, as well as a great champion," he argued. “I have spoken with [Milan coach Massimiliano] Allegri and he told me that ‘Binho" is really very fit, is working well and that he is preparing in the best way for next season."
