Santos line up Maicosuel move - reports
Reports are surfacing in Brazil that Santos are targeting a move for Udinese attacker Maicosuel.
The reports come about after Santos’ approaches to bring AC Milan striker Robinho to the club.
The Milan forward had been strongly linked with a move to the Peixe, but they reportedly pulled out of the deal due to the Rossoneri’s lofty asking price, reports Football Italia.
Now several media outlets in Brazil have insisted that the Brazilian team are now interested in the 27-year-old Udinese player
Maicosuel played just 15 times for the Zebrette last term, and could be available for as little as €5m.
However, the Brazilian transfer window closes in 48 hours time so any move will have to be quick if Santos want to land their target.
The former Cruzeiro player joined Udinese in 2012 from Botofogo and has made 19 appearances for the Italian club, scoring once.
