Vasco’s president Roberto Dinamite has confirmed the signing of Libertad’s Argentine defensive midfielder Pablo Guiñazu.
The former Internacional midfielder canceled his contract with Libertad in order to be able to move to Vasco outside the international transfer window.
Roberto Dinamite confirmed yesterday that Guiñazu is joining the club, he told Globo Esporte: “We had already reached an agreement with Fágner and we have now solved the situation of Guiñazu.
“They will be two important players for the club; Guiñazu is coming to Rio de Janeiro to finalize the details.
“We have solved the problem with his contract that was related to Internacional. I publicly thank the president of Internacional, he understood our situation.”
Vasco have currently around 40 players in the squad, Roberto Dinamite has admitted that some of the players will have to leave the club.
