The agent of Grêmio’s Bressan has revealed that the young defender is hoping for a move to Juventus.

The 20-year-old Brazilian, whose full name is Matheus Simonete Bressanelli, has reportedly attracted the attention of the Italian champions in recent weeks.

And Bressan’s representative, Marcelo Lipatin, has claimed that the young centre-back is now looking to leave Porto Alegre for Italy, as reported on Forza Italian Football.

“We were in Italy a month ago to obtain his Italian citizenship and the passport arrived yesterday,” Lipatin told Tuttomercatoweb.

“This is great advantage for his career as it can now bring in interest from the big European sides.”

However, despite rumoured interest, Lipatin claims that Juventus are yet to make an official offer, while urging other potential suitors to move quickly to land the highly-rated youngster.

He added: “At this moment nothing official has arrived from Juventus.

“They might have spoken with Grêmio but if they have the club would have let me know and then we will see if we can close a deal.

“But at the moment Grêmio have not received any concrete offers and because of this the player will stay for the moment.

“He is one of the most important prospects in Brazilian football.

“Whoever wants him should take advantage and get him now, as between now and December the price is sure to increase considerably.”

The former Juventude player has made seven appearances in the Brasileirão so far this season, and five in the Copa Libertadores before Grêmio crashed out to Colombian side Santa Fe in May.
