Besiktas are interested in Atlético Mineiro’s star Ronaldinho, according to reports in Turkish press.
According to Turkish site Fanatik, Besiktas will make an offer for Ronaldinho Gaúcho after the second leg of the Copa Libertadores final on Wednesday.
The Turkish source claims that the negotiations are already taking place with Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Assis. Besiktas’ president Fikret Orman has offered Ronaldinho 12 million Euros a year as a salary, says Fanatik.
Ronaldinho had previously been linked to Besiktas’ rival Galatasaray, but both Asis and the midfielder himself dismissed the rumor.
The 2002 World Cup champion is under contract with Atlético Mineiro until December 2013, and could already sign a pre-contract with another club.
Neither Atlético Mineiro nor Ronaldinho have confirmed or denied Fanatik‘s claims yet.
