Bragantino have announced the signing of former Barcelona, Manchester City and Hull City midfielder Geovanni.
Geovanni had a promising start of career, shining at Cruzeiro, but he has failed to establish himself since then. He will be officially presented by Bragantino on Wednesday, along with Nílson, who has beem signed from Vasco
Bragantino’s manager Vágner Benazzi talked with Rádio FM 102 about Geovanni, he said: “He is a super smart player that knows how to be with the rest of the squad.
“He doesn’t need to keep playing, but he loves to, he is great with set pieces and even being 33, 34 years old, he doesn’t want to leave the game. The fans will love him.”
Bragantino are currently in 7th place in the Brazilian national second division, they will play against ASA thus Tuesday.
