Adriano has been named in Barcelona’s 23 man squad to face Bayern Munich in a pre-season game in Germany as Neymar is left out.

With last Saturday’s friendly with Lechia Gdansk rearranged to next week, the Blaugrana’s trip out to the Allianz Arena is their first test of this preseason and they departed for Germany this morning.

28-year-old Adriano was not part of the Seleção’s Confederations Cup triumph so he travels with the Barcelona squad.

The group, which lists 12 first team players and 11 reserves, have this morning already left for Germany. The Confederations Cup participants are still yet to return to training so Adriano’s fellow Brazilian Neymar misses out.

After today’s game, the party will stay overnight in Munich and then continue on to Oslo on the Thursday for the Saturday friendly arranged with Valerenga, reports Football Espana.

This will be the first time Adriano and the Barcelona squad will come up against former coach Pep Guardiola since he joined the German club this summer.
