Jô believes that Ronaldinho can still return to the national team if he keeps playing the same way he has been doing lately.
Both Jô and Ronaldinho helped Atlético Mineiro win their first ever Copa Libertadores title yesterday.
The striker talked with Arena Sportv about Ronaldinho"s comment that they are both ‘renegades", he said: “‘Renegades" is a strong word, it would be more like ‘discredited".
“They said that I didn"t do anything in the clubs where I played, but I was top scorer, champion.
“I was humble and so was Ronaldinho. He doesn"t have anything to prove, he is fully capable of returning to the national team.
“He dreams of playing the World Cup, if he remains humble, knowing how to play, he will return [to the national team]."
