Internacional’s new signing Ignacio Scocco hopes to adapt quickly to his new club and to Brazilian football.
The Porto Alegre-based club paid US$ 6.5 million to sign him, turning him into their most expensive signing ever. He was officially presented to fans this Friday, along with Alex.
Scocco hopes to adapt quickly, he told press: “I can adapt very quickly, I know the Brazilian league as I have played against from here, and due to watching TV.
“I hope to adapt quickly so I can become available for my teammates and the manager as soon as possible.”
The Argentine striker is not sure if he should play the derby against Grêmio on Sunday though, he said: “I obviously know what it is like to play such a derby, it’s a match everyone wants to play.
“But I need to see my physical condition first, then be available for the manager and see what happens.”
