Wallace will join Inter 'as soon as possible', claims agent
Chelsea starlet Wallace will join Inter Milan on a season-long loan "as soon as possible", according to the defender’s agent.
The 19-year-old full-back signed with the Blues from Fluminense in December but was loaned back to the Brazilian club until this summer.
And now Wallace is set for another spell away from Stamford Bridge as he has been in talks with the Nerazzurri for several weeks, with a deal appearing to be imminent.
"Can these be the decisive days for the transfer to Inter? I hope so," Frederico Moraes told TMW, as reported on Football Italia.
"The deal is not closed yet, but we are continuing negotiations. I prefer not to pick a date of the possible transfer to Inter.
"I can say we want to finalise everything as soon as possible, because it would be important for Wallace to be at the disposal of the coach and settle into his new environment."
Wallace has made a good early impression at Chelsea after his debut in a 1-0 victory over the Singha All-Stars during pre-season.
He had been linked with a switch to Napoli recently but Moraes insisted those were just rumours, as his next destination will be San Siro.
"Yesterday newspaper reports circulated that Napoli were interested, but to be honest those were just rumours," his representative added.
"Napoli showed interest in the lad a year ago, but then there was the move from Fluminense to Chelsea."
