QPR's Júlio César still confident of move
QPR goalkeeper Júlio César has admitted that a move may still happen after negotiations with Fiorentina collapsed.
The Brazilian is still confident of leaving Loftus Road despite failing to clinch a move to Serie A due to financial reasons.
"I am still a Queens Park Rangers player. A lot can happen before the end of August," César told Globoesporte.
"At the moment my focus is on the national team and I am looking forward to seeing my team-mates again."
César's potential move to Fiorentina has collapsed due to financial reasons as the Viola have declared themselves out of the running.
Sporting director Daniele Prade told Viola Channel: "We can dismiss the Júlio César option. That is because the transfer is not feasible.
"We are happy with the two goalkeepers who we have right now and we are evaluating things on a daily basis."
