Liverpool end Siqueira pursuit - report
Liverpool look to have ended their pursuit of Granada left-back Guilherme Siqueira according to reports in Spain.
The latest news is that the Reds have instead sealed a loan move for Valencia left-back Aly Cissokho, according to Deporte Valenciano.
Negotiations with Granada for Siqueira were reported to have stalled over the player's price tag, which quickly rose to £12 million in light of Real Madrid's interest.
Brendan Rodgers' side were said to have baulked at the fee and instead went back in for French international Cissokho.
The deal is said to include a initial €1m fee for a season-long loan, with the option to purchase the player for €4.5m at the end of the term.
The move is designed to provide current Reds first-choice left-back Jose Enrique competition, with the only other senior full-back, Jack Robinson, loaned out for the season at Blackpool.
Siqueira will now be waiting for a move from Real Madrid as Fabio Coentrão's future looks increasingly uncertain.
