Leo Baptistao enjoying life at Atlético Madrid
Atlético Madrid forward Leo Baptistao has reflected on his first few months at the club after his summer move from Rayo Vallecano.
The Brazilian striker joined the Atlético this summer after an impressive season last time out with the Vallecano where he scored seven times.
And the 21-year-old has already seen the differences between the two clubs, whilst also commenting on their objectives for the campaign, reports Football Espana.
Baptistao, who forms part of the Atlético strike force alongside his compatriot Diego Costa, told AS: “I’m thrilled to be here.
“Rayo and Atléti play different styles of football, but I think I’m adapting okay.
“Simeone asks his players to never stop working, never lower the intensity.
“We have reinforced the squad with some phenomenal players, but I think things will stay the same in the League.
“We’re looking forward to the Champions League though. It’s the best competition out there.”
